I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
