The Serious Charges

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences – including some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021.

A senior CPS official said, “Legal teams have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

The Police Inquiry

These allegations come after what investigators described as a “detailed inquiry” into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.

Spencer is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.
